Christmas Book For Kids 1: The Best Christmas Gift

The first one is hand illustrated story called “The Best Christmas Gift“. In this book two naughty kittens learn what the best Christmas gift is. Every year they would write a very long letters to Santa which are pretty much just  a list of presents they want Him to bring…

Book 2: Christmas Story Coloring Book

The second book has the same story, but the pages are not colored. Kids can read the story and color in the pages. Here is how it looks:

The idea actually came from you, me readers. When the first children’s book “Little Cattle Cats Eww and Yuck: Sweet Breakfast” came out, I got a number of emails from readers asking to make this story book for kids as a coloring books, because children were saying they want to color in the kittens. So I listened to the feedback and created the coloring version of the book. And now, I’ve done the same for the Christmas story.

Winter is here – stay warm

My husband and I are in Vietnam at the moment. But even here, in a tropical country, the winter has come! It has been raining for a couple of days now. So wet and cold outside. Also clouds create white light which can be hard on eyes and can cause headaches. So here is what we do to prevent bad mood and headaches in this weather:

• keep our yellow bulb lights on;
• burn essential orange oil in the aroma lamp – it smells delicious and helps to maintain good mood;
• light a candle or two – fire just makes the room cozy and welcoming. If we had a fireplace here, I’d keep it on.
• drink lot’s of different teas and hot chocolate – hot drinks are the best in this weather and they keep the energy levels up
• wear socks – that’s right, just like the cat in the picture! The warmer and funnier – the better 🙂
• we even played a video game where you are at the tropical island, and everyone speaks Spanish and the soundtracks are all salsa music 🙂 that sure does set you in a sunny mood.

I enjoy maintaining a warm and comfy environment in the house. Then it’s very nice to grab your cup of something hot, come to the window and watch the rain. It’s all about the balance.
